MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Eparchy of St. Josaphat is to be a living icon of Jesus Christ, providing for the spiritual development and religious well-being of not only the people of Ukrainian descent, but of all ethnic backgrounds and social conditions in Conyers, Georgia and within the greater Atlanta area.
In the spirit of Our Lord’s commission to go preach to all nations, our mission it to provide Christian worship in an Eastern Christian Tradition to those who seek an Eastern spiritual expression of their faith.
In that regard, we strive to bring the Word of God in the English, Ukrainian and Spanish languages to the communities served by this Church.
The primary objective of our Church is to bring the members of our community closer to God by promoting their spiritual development and growth and to serve them by doing the Will of God the Father as Jesus did.
We strive to achieve this goal by becoming a vibrant Catholic community of deep faith united and rooted in Christ, through evangelization, catechetical instruction and social awareness of the needs of our community.
